How CHICHA Dating handles account, profile, matching, communications, verification, safety and technical information.

Effective date: 12 September 2026 · Contact: support@chichadating.com
Privacy summary: CHICHA processes account, profile, matching, safety, payment-status and technical information to operate an adults-only dating service. Sensitive verification material should be retained only as long as needed for the stated review and safety purpose.

1. Who is responsible for your data?

CHICHA Dating is the service responsible for the processing described in this policy. Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent to support@chichadating.com.

2. Information you provide

3. Information generated through use

CHICHA may process session identifiers, login timestamps, message metadata, match and reaction events, read status where enabled, online/last-active status according to your settings, security logs, browser/device information, IP-derived security information, and technical diagnostics needed to operate and protect the service.

4. Google sign-in

If you use Google sign-in, CHICHA receives information authorised through the OAuth flow, such as your Google account identifier, email address and basic profile name. CHICHA uses this information to authenticate you and create or link your CHICHA account. Google sign-in does not give CHICHA your Google password.

5. Why we process information

6. Legal bases in the EEA/UK where applicable

Depending on the processing, CHICHA may rely on performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where consent is legally required. Where information reveals special-category data, an additional lawful condition may be required. Members should avoid sharing unnecessary sensitive information in public profiles.

7. Dating-profile sensitivity

Dating services can reveal highly personal information, including inferred relationship or sexual preferences. CHICHA should minimise collection and visibility of such information and use it only for the member-facing purposes described. Compatibility answers are optional unless clearly stated otherwise.

8. Who can see profile information?

Information intended for discovery may be visible to other eligible members according to profile visibility, matching and safety settings. Private messages and private media are intended only for authorised participants and authorised moderation or security access where necessary.

9. Service providers

CHICHA may use hosting, email, authentication, payment, content delivery, security and infrastructure providers to operate the service. Providers should receive only the data needed for their role and be subject to appropriate contractual and security protections.

10. Payments

CHICHA may receive payment confirmation and order metadata from its commerce/payment systems. The dating application does not need to receive full payment-card numbers to activate VIP access. Separate payment-provider privacy notices may also apply.

11. Verification data

Identity and selfie verification material is especially sensitive. It should be stored in restricted private locations, accessed only by authorised reviewers, and deleted or irreversibly anonymised when no longer needed for the review, dispute, fraud-prevention, legal, or safety purpose for which it was collected. Approval status may be retained longer than raw verification media.

12. Retention

Retention depends on the data type and purpose. Account data may be retained while the account is active and for a limited period afterwards where needed for security, disputes, fraud prevention or law. Messages, moderation records and transaction records may require different periods. CHICHA should periodically review retention and delete data that is no longer necessary.

13. Security

CHICHA uses measures such as HTTPS, restricted server permissions, hashed passwords, HttpOnly sessions, private storage for sensitive media, access controls and moderation tooling. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Members should use unique passwords and protect their devices and email accounts.

14. International transfers

Infrastructure or providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, CHICHA should use legally recognised transfer safeguards and assess provider protections.

15. Your privacy rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, request portability, withdraw consent, and complain to a supervisory authority. Some rights are subject to exceptions, including fraud prevention, legal claims and statutory retention duties.

16. Account deletion

Account deletion requests can be made through available account controls or Support. Deletion may not instantly remove data from backups, fraud-prevention records or records that must be retained by law, but such data should remain restricted and removed according to the applicable retention schedule.

17. Cookies and local storage

CHICHA may use essential cookies or browser storage for authentication, security, language, interface preferences and PWA operation. Non-essential tracking technologies should not be activated without any consent required by applicable law.

18. Children

CHICHA is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. If we learn that an underage person has created an account, the account should be removed or restricted and associated data handled according to law and safety requirements.

19. Automated decisions

Matching and compatibility features may rank or recommend profiles based on information members provide. These features support discovery and do not make legal or similarly significant decisions about members.

20. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service, providers or legal requirements change. Material updates should be communicated appropriately. The effective date above identifies the current version.

21. Contact and complaints

Contact support@chichadating.com for privacy questions or rights requests. Where applicable, you also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
